BOOKKEEPING PRICING

Simple monthly plans. One-time work only when you need it.

Choose a recurring bookkeeping level based on the expected monthly workload—not a package of hours and not transaction count alone. If the books first need historical cleanup or a new QuickBooks setup, that work is scoped separately as a one-time project—not hidden inside the monthly fee.

You do not automatically pay all three charges. Most clients pay the monthly plan plus only the one-time starting work their books actually need.
Recurring Bookkeeping

Three starting levels for ongoing monthly bookkeeping.

These plans are designed for one business entity using QuickBooks Online. Plan recommendations are based on expected bookkeeping workload—not transaction count alone. Final scope considers activity, financial-account count, connected systems, condition of the books, exception volume, and complexity.

You are paying for a defined bookkeeping scope—not a 2-, 5-, or 10-hour package. Transaction ranges and account ranges are qualification guidelines, not standalone pricing rules. Payroll activity, payment processors, loans, inventory, multiple entities, custom tracking, unusually high exception rates, or historical issues may require a different scope. QuickBooks Online subscription is separate.
One-Time Starting Work

Setup and cleanup are separate projects—not automatic monthly fees.

Some businesses can begin monthly bookkeeping immediately. Others first need a usable QuickBooks environment or historical repair. You pay for those projects only when they are actually required.

Find Your Starting Point

Five quick questions can reveal the likely pricing path.

This is an educational estimate—not a binding quote. It uses transaction volume, financial-account count, and broad complexity indicators together so the recommendation is not based on transactions alone.

1. Is QuickBooks Online already set up and usable?
2. Are the books reasonably current?
3. Roughly how many transactions happen each month?
4. How many bank, credit-card, or payment accounts are reconciled?
5. Which best describes the additional bookkeeping complexity?

Why Final Pricing Can Change

Two businesses with the same revenue can create completely different bookkeeping workloads.

Pricing should follow the amount and complexity of the bookkeeping work—not a single revenue number.

01

Transaction Volume

The number and frequency of transactions directly affect monthly processing and review work.

02

Financial Accounts

Each additional bank, card, or other financial account can add reconciliation work.

03

Payment Systems

Stripe, PayPal, Square, merchant processors, and similar systems can add matching and reconciliation complexity.

04

Payroll Activity

Existing payroll activity can increase the bookkeeping workflow even when payroll processing itself is outside scope.

05

Current Condition

Books that are already current are fundamentally different from books requiring historical repair.

06

Entities

Multiple companies or accounting environments generally require separate scope and workflow.

07

Exception Rate

More unusual, unclear, or unsupported transactions create more human-review and client-question work.

08

Reporting Needs

Standard monthly bookkeeping reports differ from specialized tracking or custom management reporting.

Limited Founding Client Pilot

Qualifying Starter-level businesses can begin with the first month of $249 bookkeeping at $0.

The pilot is for a limited number of straightforward businesses while the human-reviewed workflow is refined. QuickBooks Setup, historical Catch-Up & Cleanup, the QBO subscription, and more complex scopes are not included in the free bookkeeping month.

$0 First month of monthly bookkeeping for qualifying pilot clients. See If I Qualify Typical fit: one entity, QuickBooks Online already usable, books reasonably current, up to approximately 75 monthly transactions, and up to two financial accounts.
Pricing Questions

No surprise stack of fees.

The goal is a clear recurring monthly price and a clear explanation of any one-time work required before the monthly service begins.

No. Monthly bookkeeping is the recurring service. QuickBooks Setup applies only when a usable QBO starting point needs to be created or substantially reorganized. Catch-Up & Cleanup applies only when historical books need separate repair before recurring monthly work can begin.

If QuickBooks Online is already usable and the books are reasonably current, the business may be able to begin directly with the appropriate recurring monthly bookkeeping plan.

Substantial historical cleanup is normally a separate project. Monthly bookkeeping is priced to maintain current books going forward; it is not intended to absorb months or years of prior reconstruction without a separate scope.

Cleanup is priced after reviewing the condition and complexity of the books. The number of historical periods alone does not determine the work; account count, transaction volume, reconciliation condition, missing information, duplicates, transfers, payroll activity, and other issues can materially change the project.

The separate setup fee applies when the business needs a new QuickBooks Online environment or a substantial setup/reorganization project. Ordinary recurring access and onboarding tasks that do not constitute a setup project are handled according to the accepted monthly scope.

No. These are starting plan structures for defined recurring scopes. Final pricing depends on the actual bookkeeping workload, including transactions, accounts, systems, entities, historical condition, exception volume, and required reporting.

No. Standard monthly bookkeeping is sold as a defined recurring scope rather than a block of hours. We track time internally for quality and capacity planning, but the client buys the agreed bookkeeping outcome. Work outside the accepted scope may be quoted separately before it is performed.

No. Unless an engagement specifically states otherwise, the QuickBooks Online subscription is a separate software cost paid by the client business.

No. The launch service is focused on bookkeeping. Tax preparation, audit, review, compilation, attestation, legal advice, investment advice, and other licensed professional services are outside the standard bookkeeping engagement.

Know the monthly price—and any one-time starting work—before the engagement begins.

Tell us how current the books are, whether QuickBooks Online is already in place, how many transactions and financial accounts are involved, and what complexity exists. We use the full workload—not one number alone—to identify the likely starting scope.
